What if?

Found a new app,   YOUPER,   that literally has me thinking.

Auto response text conversations that respond based on the words you use to explain your feelings, mood etc.

It has been very reflective for me this weekend.

“What If”  is one of the responses  that really had me realizing that I look for the bad in too many things.

This week’s goal,  just be.

Be positive,

Be Calm,

Be OK.

DEPRESSION? OR INFO OVERLOAD…

I recently spent 2 months counting down the days until my much awaited, short but sweet, 5 day vacation.

Literally a full year had passed since my previous “time off to do nothing” reward.

I was amped up mentally, ready to woo hoo! It up.

Be a little crazy, not check my phone, or emails or website stats or ANYTHING to do with my businesses or day job.

With the exception of one nice Ebay sale, my inactivity went as planned.

I spent some much needed alone time with my hubby, relaxing by the pool, and enjoying some nice meals out.

I got to have some girl’s time with my sister in law, feeding the casino slots and competing for who could act the coolest when winning even the tiniest of bonuses 🙂

I didn’t feel compelled to constantly keep an eye on my online sites, post perky motivational sayings on my Facebook page, nor comment positive remarks on 50 people I barely know’s biz pages.

All in all, a very “restful” time.

As all vacations go, it was over way too soon, Packed up, headed home and back to reality.

So where am I going with this?

Here I am, only 4 days after a great little break- again feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and completely dry of any motivation.

WTH?

Why do I wake up some days and literally run to the computer, coffee in hand and with a mind full of excited promotional bs, ready to send thousands of emails, Post banners and links on hundreds of sites.

Ready to Reach out to the generous donations that come in daily to my  50/50 site .

But other times,  I literally just cannot…

When I (like any middle aged crazy lady) google my symptoms, low energy, lack of interest, inability to focus and overall feeling of exhaustion for no good reason… I always end up on. “Depression”.

Why would I be depressed? I”m only 58, I have a sweet husband whom I adore, 3 grown children, all with their own lives.

I work a full time “day job” and have several little “Work at Home” businesses that keep me busy, entertained and in a nice little bit of cash flow.

The M word,  (Menopause) often pops up,  normal with my age and gender-   but I think I should be passed that at this point too.

My own mind wants to continually go back to a wonderful training from Brendon Burchard,   about how making decisions causes stress.

Apparently,  every single item that your mind sees and “decides” on, deciding to stop, read, linger, share, or pass-  be it a social media post,  an email advertisement, a note from a friend, a text message or even an advertisement billboard on the freeway,   ALL of these and hundreds of other visuals that your mind processes every day requires you to make a decision.

Every decision causes a little bit of stress until it’s resolved in your brain.

It’s an amazing (overwhelming, but amazing) concept if you stop and realize what your little head is doing all dang day!

What if we just “decided” to take a little visual break every day,  maybe just a half hour or so,  and either close our eyes completely, or choose to look at something beautiful.

Nature,  Water, Flowers, Art,    just anything that is NOT related to whatever business or project you’re working on.

Take time to NOT make decisions, choices, or even judgments for a few minutes.

If any of you actually read this until the end,   Please comment on what YOUR choice of

relaxing visual would be.

I really don’t expect any comments,  only likes and  invites-  because we are all so caught up in this process of promoting our businesses.

But I personally  will be visualizing,  and relaxing to this…

Money Matters

Help! I’m Drowning in Debt!

One out of every three families  carry credit card debt from month to month, for years. (According to the National Foundation for Credit Counseling)

Some of those families are managing a modest amount of debt fairly well — always paying above the minimum  and holding back on new credit purchases until the balances are paid down.

For others, however, debt is an oppressive burden that has them ducking creditors’ phone calls and struggling to keep up with even the minimum payments each month.

Some are clearly on the verge of bankruptcy.

Debt ruins marriages.

Debt stops the older generation from being able to retire and live the restful life they deserve.
If you or someone you know is  feeling   overwhelmed by debt, you need to make some quick and sometimes drastic moves to get free.

It’s not just a matter of tweaking the way you’re spending with  credit cards.

It’s a matter of seriously getting ride of debt that literally sends some people over the edge.

Suicide because of financial worries is a REAL thing.

Myecon can  provide you with steps detailing how to get out of debt and live a debt free lifestyle.

Here is a short 8-minute video that I would like for you to watch that explains how you can start changing your financial situation.
